Urgent Care (Modelling of Local Health Economy Impact)

This module enables modelling of urgent care performance against expected indicators that are derived nationally to identify issues. It models patient flows to evaluate admission avoidance schemes, sets metrics and KPIs, and performs demand planning to identify solutions for the local health economy. The Urgent Care module helps commissioners by analysing the as-is situation and models the should be to derive effective transition programmes by:

Near real-time identification of UC pressure points

Forecasting of A&E and ambulance activity

Scenario testing of various admission avoidance schemes

 Escalation planning

 Modelling of patient behaviour
